It sounds pretty nice actually given its age. Not as toppy as some of the newer Lyras I have heard. I only listened for a few records whilst avoiding the dreaded thugby world cup crap....
A Thai friend of mine today asked if I was really a Kiwi as I detest thugby so much.... I turned the tv off specifically so I didn't have to watch it at all.....

Luffly indeed. Surely your bung eye must interfere with your listening Mr. Y? Therefore you should allocate that system to moi for a while, save me having to get mine out of storage ;)

The bung eye has combined with my Larynx to create laryngitisbungeyedness.... so now I am silent with a bung eye. It sucks.
