Davone Audio speakers now available in NZ

September 17, 2012

DAVONE AUDIO IS a specialty loudspeaker manufacturer from Denmark, with a focus on elegant high-end speakers. These fashionable speakers combine the impeccable finish of Danish build quality with audiophile grade sound quality.

Davone Audio Ray

Davoneโ€™s Ray speaker is a homage to Charles and Ray Eamesโ€™ famous lounge chairs from the mid 1950s. The Ray has a slender metal stand and a curvaceous bent-ply walnut cabinet, which allows it to suit both traditional and modern home environments. The Ray offers a frequency response of 38Hz-20kHz, power handling of 150w and a sensitivity of 89dB/w at 8ohm. The woofer is an 8-inch studio spec unit from the UK, while the tweeter is a Danish 1-inch silk dome illuminator, coaxially mounted in the centre of the woofer.

The Ray is priced at $7995 per pair.

Davone Audio Grande

The Davone Grande floorstanding speakers are a much bigger model, which are due for release in November. Theyโ€™ll be priced at around $24,995.

  1. These speakers not only look beautiful for those who appreciate classic Scandinavian style and design but they are also for the serious audiophile and for those who like to appreciate their music without compromise.

It is a joy to have Davone speakers as part of our stable of wonderful audio gear.
