JVC HAS ANNOUNCED two new in-car AV multimedia receivers, boasting flawless iPhone and iPod linking and two-way song selection.
The models offer an App Link Mode feature, “enhancing” the user’s experience of iPhone apps with live on-screen graphic display and music playback.
The KW-AV70BT receiver (NZ RRP $1149) is the top-of-the-line model, featuring a 7-inch WVGA motorised widescreen touch panel display with proximity sensor and detachable face. It includes Bluetooth wireless technology, hands-free, audio-streaming, and voice-recognition dialling.
It’s also WAV/MP3/WMA compatible and features a 3-band parametric iEQ, MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, three sets of 4V pre-outs, and line input terminals.
Also new is the KW-AV60BT DVD/CD/USB receiver (NZ RRP $1379), featuring a detachable 6.1-inch WVGA display, built-in Bluetooth, App Link Mode and WAV/MP3/WMA compatibility.
