We Like Yellow

Silicon_3D_deluxe_mock_up_1024x1024YOU MAY REMEMBER him as a member of snotty early 21st Century Auckland punks The Mint Chicks. Alternatively, you may remember his name as the producer of Bic Runga’s last album, or even as the guy who works with Runga in the band Opossum.

Kody Nielson has been working on a new project, Silicon, and the first album under that moniker, the archly-titled Personal Computer, will be released on August 28.

But the reason it’s of more than normal interest to Witchdoctor readers is the existence of a limited edition deluxe version in coloured yellow vinyl. Coming with this luscious object will be a booklet of stylised artwork created by Neilson.

The album will also receive regular releases on LP and CD.

Ordering information can be found at Flying Out.
