Pro-Ject Audio โ€“ the company famous for helping to rehabilitate the vinyl market through its nicely priced turntables โ€“ is giving its popular VC-S record cleaner a couple of sophisticated siblings with the introduction of the VC-E and VC-S2.

The Pro-Ject VC-E is tagged the โ€˜compact cleaning machineโ€™ and its key features include a compact cabinet made out of aluminium composite panels, a plastic clamp which avoids damaging the label by seal the record label from the cleaning fluid, the ability to completely dry a record in only one or two spins, and a 500ml tank reservoir for โ€˜vacuumedโ€™ fluid.

Itโ€™s being promoted as the perfect record cleaner for the vinyl fan who is short on space.

The Pro-Ject VC-S2, on the other hand, is tagged as โ€˜the premium record-cleaning machineโ€™, and its key features include quieter operation, excellent cleaning and vacuum capabilities, and a 2.5litre tank for โ€˜vacuumedโ€™ fluid. Its aluminium enclosure is said to exemplify high-end build quality and the machine is good for both vinyl and shellac records. The larger motor and reservoir also makes for easier cleaning.
